Here is a version of the Relaxation Response, which lasts about 9 minutes. It is, more precisely, a progressive passive muscle relaxation exercise. It is suggested to start practicing the relaxation response during the day. And, once comfortable with the technique, for example, after one or two weeks of daily practice, it could be practiced at night time and might become useful during nocturnal awakenings.
